Lyme Regis - 6/7th August

This year we went with John Walker on Miss Patty  on the weekend of 6/7th Aug 2011.

Diving was for Sports divers and above only.

First up was the Baygitano wreck lying just 1.5 miles out from Lyme Regis. 2 big boilers and a tall bow section which can be entered. Huge shoals of bib and a John Dory were spotted.

Second dive was the Heroine or "brick wreck"as she is known. The "bricks" are the  ballast of this sailing ship and are home to a multitude of life including congor eels.

Unfortunately the second day of the weekend was blown out.

As always non-divers were made very welcome as it is always a lovely, sociable trip. Many thanks to Bob and Sheila who kindly hosted us all on the Friday night.
